OUR STORY

Before GlowMe, there was a rider.

Not a business mogul. Not a tech whiz. Just a young man on a motorbike, navigating the hum and pulse of the city — its flickering streetlights at dawn, the symphony of café chatter, and the choreography of delivery bikes weaving through the maze of traffic. For him, riding wasn’t just a mode of transport. It was a form of meditation. Freedom, yes — but also exposure. A strange kind of vulnerability tucked beneath the thrill.

From his teenage years, he rode to escape, to feel the wind press against his skin and forget the noise of the world. But there was one part of the ritual that always pulled him back to reality: cleaning his helmet. No matter what product he tried, it never felt truly clean and there at the back of his mind was always that nagging thought: ‘Is this really safe?’

Then came… The Pandemic.

Overnight, the world shifted. Hygiene became sacred. Suddenly, everything needed to be sanitized, from phones to food packaging, and just like that something clicked. He watched as his fellow riders — delivery workers, commuters, first responders all carried on through uncertain streets their helmets clinging tightly to their face’s day after day. It dawned on him that what had once symbolised freedom now felt like a liability.

It was then that the question struck:  “Why hasn’t anyone created a proper, convenient way to disinfect items – safely, effectively, and effortlessly?”

What began as a thought became a calling. He poured himself into the problem, tirelessly sketching, researching, testing. He sought answers in materials science, light wavelengths, and industrial design. After countless trials and long nights, he found an international manufacturing partner who shared not just the vision — but the values: simplicity, safety, and trust.

Together, they built something the world had never seen – a sleek, touch-free disinfection kiosk for helmets. Fast, effective, and reassuring. The first GlowMe machine had come into existence combining steam, UV-C light, and deodorisation in one smooth cycle. It wasn’t just a product. It was a quiet promise to every rider: “You’re safe now. We’ve got you.”

As the world began to recover, the rider’s mission didn’t fade. It grew.

GlowMe expanded — first to shoe sanitisation, then to personal belongings. Every new solution was born from a single belief: that in a fast-moving world, hygiene shouldn’t be an afterthought. It should empower people to move freely, confidently, protected with care.

Today, GlowMe stands in city centres, transport hubs, and corporate offices – not just as a machine, but as a movement.

A commitment to modern urban wellbeing.  A reminder that behind every innovation is a human story.

And it all began with one young rider, a dirty helmet, and the determination to make things better.
